Innov-is VM5100 combines quilting, sewing, and embroidery into one surprisingly affordable dream machine. The DreamCreator XE helps you realize your dreams with a 10% larger workspace than most Brother machines and a large 7" x 12" embroidery area.

The Dream Creator series of sewing machines by Brother bears a lot of resemblance with the Dream Weaver series; not just in terms of the almost similar and matching names, but a complete resemblance in terms of looks and appearance. In fact, the similarity is so uncanny that it is literally impossible to tell them apart just by the looks of it. The build, the design, the color combination, the chassis, the button layout: all are exactly the same.

Just like the Dream Weaver, the onboard functions and controls of the Dream Creator XE VM5100 comprise of a start/stop button, needle up/down button, presser foot up/down button. Thread cutter, reverse stitch button, stitch stop button, the variable speed slider, and finally an automatic needle threader. The side panel of the body comprises a see-through bobbin cover, a drop feed, and a thread guide.

As far as the working is concerned, the XE VM5100 is as smooth as butter. Designed to do every and any kind of project related to either sewing, quilting, or embroidering, the Dream Weaver is more than equipped for handling everything thrown at it with relative ease. In order to change the mode between the type of work to do, all that has to be done is to touch an icon on the digital display and voila!

The machine recalibrates everything on itself without you having to fiddle with anything. And in every single mode, there are further a plethora of stitch options to choose from (something which can be done just by specifying the stitch length and width and giving the desired settings into the stitch memory through the highly intuitive and easy to use touch display on the side panel) in order to get the perfect quality output- a factor which is beyond the description of excellent and nice.
